A Nantwich woman has made a heartfelt plea for thieves to return her motorbike stolen from outside her home.
Tandie Stahl, a former Brine Leas student, says the bike is her “lifeline” to work and the theft has left her heartbroken.
Tandie, who works at Cheshire College – South and West, has appealed for people to keep an eye on selling sites as she fears thieves will try and cash in on the Honda PCX 125.
It was stolen from her driveway in the Arnold Street area of Nantwich near Barony Park on Tuesday (July 14).
She said: “It was locked, secured and yes I was home, but they still managed to steal it.
“I don’t have a lot and have had to work so hard for everything I have including this bike, which is all I have and my only method of transport for work.
“Heartbroken isn’t the word, I’m absolutely devastated.
“Neighbours say they heard some noise about 1am and when they looked out of their window the bike was not in its usual space and was not there and they saw a man walking down my gully at the side of the house.
“It must have been taken early hours, but I didn’t notice until the afternoon when going out for essentials.
“The bike is very sentimental and was a part gift from a family member.
“It has a special locking mechanism and isn’t easy to get into without having to take the entire bike apart, it’s also registered as stolen with the police and DVLA so it’s useless to whoever has it.
“If anyone sees this vehicle for sale please can you inform me immediately and take snap shots of the sale.”
The bike is a Honda PCX 125, slightly worn PCX letters in one side, around 6,000 miles.
Anyone with information can also report it to Cheshire Police on 101.
