Organisers of the Nantwich Spooktacular say the event WILL go ahead and will be COVID compliant.
The annual event attracts thousands of people to Nantwich Showground at Dorfold Park.
This year’s event will be on Halloween, Saturday October 31, with some details of what it will include already released.
In a statement, organisers said: “Preparations are underway for the 2020 Nantwich Spooktacular.
“A Covid compliant event with a display like never before.
“We are working on an alternative layout to give more space and an even bigger display. We will update you as this develops.”
The event is scheduled to start at 4.30pm and finish with the usual fireworks display laid on by Blitz Fireworks at around 8pm.
TV presenter and former Signal Radio presenter Emma Jones will compere the evening, there will be adult and children’s fancy dress competitions, punch and judy shows, and the usual funfair rides.
There will also be a free shuttle bus picking up from Nantwich Civic Hall and Nantwich Pool.
