The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury will host its 10th Teddy Bears Picnic in August at nearby Cholmondeley Castle.
The event on Sunday August 22 includes the popular Teddy Bear Hunt, Name the Teddy, art and crafts, stalls, Teddy Tombola, Lucky Dip, Hook a Duck, Face Painting, Bouncy, Balloon Animals and more.
Sports coaches from the centre will also be providing fun activities throughout the day from soft archery and basketball to parachute games and an obstacle course.
There will be a children’s story time, classical buskers and of course The Teddy Bears Picnic.
Visitors can bring their own picnic or pre order from the onsite café.
Rhiannon Vine, marketing officer at Wingate Centre, said: “We are very excited to be holding this event after a break of over two years.
“The centre has remained open during the second and third lockdowns to provide vital respite for our most vulnerable clients.
“The Family Fete will provide much needed funds as well as a coming together in celebration of friendship and inclusion. We hope to see you there… and don’t forget to bring your teddy!”
Advance tickets to the fete, which runs from 11am to 4pm, are available through Eventbrite.co.uk, offering a 25% discount on gate prices.
Proceeds from the fete will go to The Wingate Special Children’s Trust at The Wingate Centre in Wrenbury.
The centre provides recreational activities and residential breaks for children and young adults with disabilities.
