Police want to question this man after bolt cutters were used to sever chains and steal a £500 bicycle outside Chatwins bakery in Nantwich.
Stunned owner Nigel Attwell discovered his prize bike had been taken as he left work at around 5.30pm on July 25.
And Cheshire Police say these images, taken from the firm’s CCTV on Market Street, show a man they want to question in connection with the incident.
Nigel, from Willaston, said: “I cycle to work everyday from Willaston, as I don’t drive.
“I have been cycling here for over two years and never had a problem before.
“I’m thinking it might be stole to order as it wasn’t a cheap bike.”
The bike was locked to a bike rack outside the main Chatwins bakery in the gated yard.
It is described as a Boardman MX hybrid bike, blue and black colour, valued at £500.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers would like to speak to the man in connection with the theft to help with their inquiries.”
Anyone with information or who knows this man should contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 839 of 25th July.
