The family of a young dad who died in a collision on the A41 Whitchurch Road in Edge have paid tribute to him.
The collision involved two HGVs and a car on the main road between Broxton and Malpas, on Wednesday January 9 at 6.48am.
The driver of the Kia Ceed, Phillip Edwards (pictured) 38, from the Wirral died at the scene.
His family are being supported by specialist officers.
In a statement issued via Cheshire Police, his family said: “It is with great sadness that Phillip Edwards passed away on Wednesday following a road traffic collision.
“Phill was a much loved husband, son, dad, brother and uncle and this tragic event will leave a huge hole in our lives.
“We ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
