Nantwich friends who pedalled from London to Asia raise more than £5k

A group of young cyclists from Nantwich have completed an epic 3,184km fundraising ride from England to Asia in just 26 days.

The saddle-sore friends crossed the finish line at the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and helped raise more than £5,700.

A councillor has objected to the licence renewal for a sex shop which has operated on Nantwich Road in Crewe for 21 years with no complaints.

Cheshire East’s licensing sub-committee was told by the council’s licensing team leader, Kim Evans, that the licence for Temptations Adult Shop was renewed annually and there had never been an objection from anyone previously.
