Cheshire East Council has no plan in place to deal with its massive special needs budget deficit, just a seven-year proposal to bring spending back in line with grant income, a councillor said.

Malbank School in Nantwich were in fine voice when their choir took a tour of Belgium and performed two concerts.

The choir – called Malbank Voices – performed concerts at the Sint-Carolus nursing home in Kortrijk and on the bandstand in Ostend town square.
