Reaseheath College has won an award for promoting responsible pet ownership during National Pet Month. The Nantwich college scooped the National Pet Month award for best educational event and was runner up for the best event overall.
Parents and youngsters are celebrating a new zebra crossing outside a Nantwich primary school after years of campaigning. Cheshire East Council finally installed the crossing on Wellington Road by St Anne’s Primary during the half-term break.

The annual Blitz Fireworks display and family fun evening at Highfields School in Nantwich takes place on Friday October 4. As well as the fireworks display, there will be a BBQ provided by Grants Butchers, refreshments, games and stalls.

A school crossing on a busy Nantwich street is to be installed after years of campaigning by parents. The crossing will be built on Wellington Road outside St Anne’s Catholic Primary in October, Cheshire East Highways have confirmed.
