Talented Wrenbury residents near Nantwich have helped grow £20.13 into a staggering £1,500 as part of a new scheme. The idea began at St Margaret’s Church, in Wrenbury, where members of the congregation were given just over £20 to launch with.
Events and organisations in the Nantwich area are in line for community grants from Cheshire East Council. Cash is set to be dished out to help groups stage events and fund developments in the area.
