Nantwich man jailed for 21 years for raping and abusing girl

A child rapist from Nantwich has been jailed for 21 years for subjecting a young girl to years of sexual abuse in Warrington.

Graham Jones, previously known as Graham Peacock, of Clonners Field, in Stapeley, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court where he was handed the custodial sentence.

A man has been charged in relation to a number of burglary incidents in the Nantwich area, say Cheshire Police.

Steven Hilditch, of HMP Hindley, has been charged with five counts of attempted burglary of a dwelling, one count of attempted burglary other than a dwelling, six counts of vehicle interference and one count of theft of a pedal cycle.
