Medieval knights are set to descend on Beeston Castle near Nantwich this weekend for a jousting competition.
The sights and sounds of the 13th century will be on offer over the Bank Holiday weekend, as English Heritage invites visitors to step back in time.
A celebration of autumn comes to Beeston Castle and Woodland Park on October 1 and 2.
The English Heritage castle near Nantwich celebrates its annual Autumn Fair with falconry displays, music, foraging, local craftsmen, wildlife groups, and even a dog show.

Bunbury Church Fete took place within the grounds of Beeston Castle on Bank Holiday Monday.
The annual event was moved to earlier in the year for more favourable weather.
Nantwich Civic Society entertained 31 members of Lancaster Civic Society with a trip around the town. They were met at Nantwich Civic Centre by Civic Society members and Town Mayor, Christine Farrall before enjoying a tour of the town.
