In one of the documents of Cheshire East Council Budget Consultation, you show that central support has dropped for £55M to near zero over 10 years, then state that “The council must therefore do things differently for less”

A new office development for Nantwich has been “slapped down” every time it comes forward despite no parish councils or residents ever objecting to it, a councillor said.
Willaston councillor Allen Gage (Con) was speaking just before Cheshire East’s southern planning committee again refused an application to build on land off the Alvaston Roundabout.

The full Cheshire East Council last met on the 20th of February…… It has not met since.
It has not met for over FOUR MONTHS…… and has no plans to do so.

Town and parish councils are being invited to chip in alongside Cheshire East Council to help improve the borough’s bus network.
CEC recently confirmed it is working with neighbouring Cheshire West and Chester Council to fund a Sunday service for Crewe, Shavington, Leighton Hospital, Middlewich, Winsford and Northwich.

Two Cheshire councils have agreed to work together to support a Sunday bus service connecting mid Cheshire to Leighton Hospital and Crewe from next February.
