Organisers of the 9th Words & Music Festival in Nantwich have hailed the six-day event a huge success.
Around 2,000 tickets were sold across the week of live music and poetry.

Journalist to give Nantwich talk for Inland Waterways Association
Author and journalist Sarah Henshaw will give a talk in Nantwich for the Inland Waterways Association.
Sarah’s talk, “The Strait and The Narrow”, will take place be at the Crown Hotel on October 20 for the Shrewsbury District and North Wales branch of the association.

Ian McCulloch performed an intimate headlining event at The Crown Hotel in Nantwich as part of the Words and Music Festival, writes Kirsty Rollings.
The 80’s post-punk vocalist from Echo and the Bunneymen drew in a sell-out crowd from Nantwich and the surrounding areas.
