Organisers of the “Nanocon” Nantwich Comic Con event say it will now be free entry.
Some plans for a large event tomorrow (July 2) have had to be changed due to “unforseen circumstances”, says organiser Steve Howard.
Nantwich’s Comic Con returned as a Comic Con Market this year at Nantwich Civic Hall, writes Jonathan White.
Due to the pandemic, it was not the full Nanocon Comic Con convention but a free entry Comic Con Market in the main hall.
NANOCON is coming back to town with the latest popular Comic Con event to be held at Nantwich Civic Hall on June 9.
Organisers expect hundreds of fans of TV and film to “get their geek on” once again when the event runs from 10am to 4pm.
Hundreds of sci-fi fans flocked to Nantwich for the third NanoCon event at the Civic Hall.
The main hall featured a collectors market of stalls, selling collectable merchandise, hand-made goods and artwork, and ample autograph and photo opportunities with stars of TV and the movies.
Sci-fi and superhero movie fans will be queuing up when NANOCON returns to Nantwich.
The event will be held this Sunday (September 18) at Nantwich Civic Hall.

Comic heroes and movie characters arrived in Nantwich to help promote the town’s first ever comic-con event, called NANOCON.
Star Wars characters among others stormed the Civic Hall where Nantwich Mayor, Cllr Andrew Martin joined Shadow Trooper, Tusken Raider and Imperial Guard.
