Hundreds of boxing fans donned their black ties to enjoy the 34th annual dinner and boxing evening at Nantwich Civic Hall. Punters enjoyed nine ABA bouts between young fighters from amateur clubs across Cheshire and Merseyside.

Thieves have struck twice at Nantwich Cricket Club off Whitehouse Lane, stealing a roller and a cellar cooling system. The raid is another example of metal thieves targeting the area, cashing in on the value of scrap metal.
