Patients, carers and members of the public are being invited to learn more about long-term neurological conditions at a special event taking place at Nantwich Civic Hall.
The “drop-in” event, co-ordinated by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) and Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust (CECPCT), will take place on Thursday October 13, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
There will be displays from organisations including Alzheimer’s Society, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Epilepsy Action, the Expert Patient Programme, Motor Neurone Disease Association and Parkinson’s UK.
Sue Pickup, patient experience manager at MCHFT, said: “As a Trust we are working towards the National Service Framework for long-term conditions.
“It sets out 11 quality requirements to transform the way health and social care services support people with long-term neurological conditions to live as independently as possible.
“We hope the event is beneficial to those affected by such conditions, and welcome anyone to attend and learn more.”
More details will soon be at www.mcht.nhs.uk.
