Detectives have re-launched an international hunt for a man wanted in connection with the murder of a Nantwich trader.
Christopher Guest More is wanted in connection with violent death of Brian Waters, 44, of Stapeley.
Mr Waters was tied up, beaten with metal bars, whipped and burned with acid during a three-hour ordeal at Burnt House Farm, Tabley, near Knutsford, in 2003.
Three men were jailed for life after being convicted of murder following trials in 2004 and 2007.
Interpol now want to find 32-year-old More, from Lymm, who they believe may be on the run in Spain.
He is among 10 of UK’s most wanted fugitives being hunted in Spain in a new campaign by Crimestoppers and the Serious Organised Crime Agency.
Det Chief Insp Andrew Smith said: “We still remain determined and committed to finding and arresting Christopher More for his alleged involvement in the brutal murder of Brian Waters.
“I am confident with the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies, More will be traced. Cheshire Police will not close this case until the family of Brian Waters see justice done.”
