Nantwich Town’s home match with Rushall Olympic today (February 4) has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Temperatures plummeted to around minus 8 degrees overnight, leaving the Weaver Stadium pitch unplayable.
Officials called off the game this morning following a pitch inspection.
League Two neighbours Crewe Alexandra’s game against Accrington has also fallen victim to the weather, along with many other league and non league games.
A re-arranged date for Nantwich’s game has yet to be finalised.
