Nantwich Town boss Jimmy Quinn has swooped to bring prolific marksman Mark Beesley to the Weaver Stadium.
The former Chester City and Cambridge United hitman was one of the leading scorers in the Evo-Stik Premier League last season with struggling Burscough.
He went on to join Hednesford Town in January – the club former Nantwich striker Michael Lennon has just joined.
“I’m delighted to have signed Mark,” said Quinn.
“He has scored goals wherever he’s been and has got bags of experience.
“He’s a player I’ve had my eye on for some time and am really pleased that he has agreed to join us.”
Beesley, 31, has also served the likes of Fleetwood Town, Forest Green Rovers and Altrincham.
“Nantwich have a fantastic set-up and it’s great to be joining them,” he said.
“Jimmy signed me when he was the gaffer at Cambridge and I’m looking forward to working with him again. I can’t wait for the new season to start!”
Meanwhile, defenders Mat Bailey and Darren Moss have committed to Nantwich for the 2012/13 season.
Quinn said: “Bails and Mossy were fantastic for us last season. It’s great news for the club and the fans that they’ve both committed to staying at the Weaver Stadium.
“Like goalkeeper Jonny Brain, they are quality players with league experience who you can build a team around.”
Bailey, still only 26, has played for Stockport County, Scunthorpe United and Crewe Alexandra before joining the Dabbers last August.
Moss, 31, a former Welsh under-21 international, signed for Nantwich from Bangor City last summer after experience at Chester City, Shrewsbury Town and Crewe.
