The Dabbers, who reached the First Round Proper last season, will need to be on top form to oust the side managed by former Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers midfielder Garry Flitcroft.
The Magpies finished third last season, losing out on promotion in the play-offs to FC United.
The tie will take place at the Victory Park Stadium on Saturday September 8.
In the FA Trophy, Nantwich have been drawn at home to Redditch United of the Evo-Stik Southern League.
Redditch finished 15th last season and will visit the Weaver Stadium for the First Qualifying Round tie on Saturday September 29.
In the FA Youth Cup, the Dabbers have also been handed a home tie in the Preliminary Round against Runcorn Linnets, to be played week commencing September 3.
If they won through, Steve Smithies’ young Dabbers will host Northwich Victoria two weeks later with the winners of that tie also being drawn at home in the Second Qualifying Round.
Lancaster City, Marine or Stalybridge Celtic would be the opponents in week starting October 1.
