Nantwich Town will welcome back Steve Davis to the Weaver Stadium with his his League Two play-off champions Crewe Alexandra.
The Dabbers take on the Alex in their traditional pre-season friendly tomorrow (July 21) with a bumper crowd expected.
Davis led Nantwich to two promotions during his reign before being snapped up by Crewe to be assistant to Dario Gradi.
He then led the Alex to Wembley play-off glory with a club record 19-match unbeaten run after taking over as manager earlier in the season.
Nantwich boss Jimmy Quinn was leading his own side to silverware as well, guiding the Dabbers to victory in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Former Nantwich defender Kelvin Mellor has given Crewe a boost this week by signing a new two-year deal.
The Alex have assured that a strong first team squad will be brought to the Weaver Stadium for the match that kicks off at 3pm.
Turnstiles open at 1.30pm. There are no advance tickets, pay on the gate.
Admission prices are adults £8, concessions £5, children £2.
Matchday parking at the stadium is £1.50 and overspill parking will be available at Malbank School. A matchday programme will be available, priced £1.
Meanwhile, the new Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture list for 2012-13 has handed Nantwich an away trip to Matlock Town in their opening game on August 18.
They will be at home on Tuesday August 21 against Kendal and again on August 25 when they entertain Ilkeston.
