MP Edward Timpson put his Government promotion to good use in Nantwich – by opening a new nursery.
The newly promoted junior minister for education cut the ribbon at the new Little Angels in Regents Park, off London Road.
He joined Nantwich Mayor Cllr Graham Fenton at the opening in the grounds of Elim Church, also accessed off Crewe Road.
It is the third addition to the existing Little Angels’ pre-school and afterschool services based at Weaver and Willaston schools.
Edward Timpson, MP for Crewe and Nantwich, said: “It is encouraging to see that the Little Angels nurseries are catering to increasing demand from parents, I wish them the success in this their latest venture.”
Owner Debbie Thelwell is hoping to bring stability to the Elim Church nursery, which had to close abruptly under previous management.
Debbie said: “Our philosophy is to inspire young minds with purposeful play in a natural environment.
“The outdoor facilities at the new Regent’s Park site offer great facilities for us to enable our young people to fulfil this.
