Nantwich Town produced an impressive display on the road to hammer Grantham Town 4-1.
A brace from Sean Cooke and goals from Lewis Short and Andy White kept Dabbers’ playoff chase on course.
White impressed on his return to the side on loan from Crewe Alexandra, his inclusion in place of Mark Beesley the only change to the sidee that comprehensively beat Stocksbridge Park Steels last weekend.
But it was hosts Grantham who took the lead on the half hour mark as Sam Saunders opened the scoring.
Nantwich replied immediately, though, and two goals in two minutes, first from Short and then White gave the Dabbers a half-time lead.
Cooke added third on the hour to leave the hosts dispirited and kill the game off.
Then his 12th goal of the season came in the closing stages to round off a fantastic day for Quinn’s side who have now closed the gap on the playoff places to just three points.
Sixth-placed Nantwich have a weekend off next week as scheduled league opponents Matlock Town are in FA Trophy action.
So the Dabbers are not scheduled to play at the Weaver Stadium again until Boxing Day when they welcomed Ashton United.
