A Nantwich pub has agreed a sponsorship deal to help promote its forthcoming music festival.

The Railway Hotel has teamed up with Blue Bell Crewe to stage the “Keep Music Live” festival at the venue during Easter weekend.

The free event will feature an array of local acts at the Pillory Street venue.

Weston Road-based BMW dealership Blue Bell has been named as the festival’s sponsor of the indoor stage.

Railway Hotel landlord Nigel Humphries said: “We’re thrilled to have Blue Bell BMW on board with the festival and delighted they share our passion for promoting the very best of local talent.

“This is the second year we have hosted the festival and once again, I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing and free weekend celebrating how vital live music is to the community.”

Phil Brown, Blue Bell Crewe sales director, said: “The indoor stage has played host to an array of amazing acts and the Railway is a wonderful setting for great music.

“Blue Bell is dedicated to supporting local talent as proven by our ongoing sponsorship of the area’s upcoming sporting stars and we’re delighted to back the future stars of the area’s ever-growing music scene.”

The five-day festival will feature acts such as Stephen Robinson & Friends on Thursday March 28, Nuclear Safari on March 29, and The Prospects on Saturday March 30.

Easter Sunday’s bill features Jalapenos, and Mad Dog while Beardsmith, AWOL and Indecision are among Easter Monday’s acts.
