Nantwich Town let slip a two-goal lead and had to settle for a point away at Blyth Spartans.
The Dabbers took control of the match in Northumberland in the first period, and were 2-0 at the break.
Oliver Devenney’s fine 25-yard strike gave Danny Johnson’s men the early lead after just seven minutes in front of 381 supporters.
And leading scorer added the second from the penalty spot on 19 minutes to put the visitors in control as the home fans rounded on the officials.
But Blyth came out stronger after the break, and two goals in the space of two minutes had them on level terms.
Arjun Purewal pulled the first back on 54 minutes, and then 60 seconds later Daniel Maguire levelled.
Both sides had chances in the remaining half hour but defences stood firm.
It was a hard-earned point for Nantwich against a side fourth in the Evo Stik Premier League and challenging for promotion.
The Dabbers stay in 17th position, with 13 points from 12 games.
