A body found by police in the Coole Lane area of Nantwich has been confirmed as that of Jez Cox.
Nantwichnews reported how the body was found on Sunday afternoon at around 3pm.
Mr Cox had been missing from home on Park Road since March 6.
A police spokeswoman said: “Formal identification has now taken place confirming that it is missing Nantwich man Jez Cox.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
