A stunning bowling display by Oliver Griffiths helped Nantwich CC 1sts notch their first win of the new league season.
Griffiths took 7 for just 29 runs as they humbled Bramhall with a comfortable 164-run victory.
The hosts were put into bat at Whitehouse Lane and Nantwich would make Bramhall regret that decision.
Tight bowling by Rupes Kitzinger and Ashley West helped to keep the Nantwich batsmen in check, with openers Frank Farrington and Ray Doyle going early.
But they soon found their timing as Liam Livingstone led the way with a top score of 75 and he received good support from Ashley Shaw (29), Sam Hunt (26) and Tom Atkin (24).
Oliver Griffiths made a valuable contribution of 34 runs off 17 balls as Nantwich posted a healthy 259 all out with one ball to spare in the innings.
West returned figures of 4 for 94 for Bramhall, while Vil Tripathi claimed 4 for 60.
Bramhall started their innings well openers Matt Begbie (23) and Matt Hughes (30).
But then left-armer Griffiths began his spell and soon turned the game.
He had Begbie caught out, then bowled dangerous number 3 Tripathi for a duck.
Only Matthew Jamieson (26) offered any sort of resistance, and when Griffiths bowled him it was all over.
No other Bramhall batsman reached double figures and Griffiths claimed more wickets to finish on 7 for 29 off 12.2 overs.
It was backed up by some good fielding and a sharp run out when visiting skipper Nick Cantello tried to out run a Ashley Shaw throw.
The visitors could only muster 95 before they were all out in the 42nd over.
Nantwich, who have started the Cheshire County Premier League 2014 campaign with two defeats, collected 25 points while Bramhall had to be satisfied with four points.
