Hundreds of cyclists will descend on Nantwich next month when the “Ride Across Britain” event arrives in town.
The Deloitte RAB cycle event is being held between September 6 and 14.
And 800 riders taking part this year will be passing through Nantwich on Tuesday September 9.
The cyclists will approach Nantwich from Wrenbury, down Marsh Lane and turn left into Welsh Row.
At the traffic lights they will turn right into Waterlode and then left into Welshman’s Lane on their way to Poole and Wettenhall.
The multi-day ride is made up of nine stages, starting at Land’s End and finishing at John O’Groats.
Each stage starts in early in the morning and finishes in the evening, within the hours of daylight.
The riders are set-off from the start of each stage in groups of about 50 at three-minute intervals.
They will be passing through Nantwich during Stage 4, which goes from Ludlow in Shropshire to Haydock, near Manchester.
