The Wingate Children’s Centre in Wrenbury has received a massive funding boost of more than £12,000 from Sainsbury’s Nantwich.
A cheque for £12,495 was presented to the centre at the end of its period as the supermarket’s chosen charity.
Rona Moroney, general manager at the centre, collected the cheque on behalf of the Wrenbury-based charity which provides residential and recreational facilities for children with disabilities.
“We would like to thank all the Sainsbury’s customers and staff for this amazing fundraising effort,” Rona said.
“The money will go towards providing holidays for children with disabilities from around the country.”
