Nantwich Museum has announced its programme of events for Christmas.
There will be a drop-in sing-a-long concert led by the Wistaston Singers running from 11am to 12.30pm on Saturday December 19.
It will be followed at 2pm by “A Christmas Box” a talk by Graham Dodd exploring mid-winter traditions.
Both events are free but donations in support of museum funds would be appreciated.
Children’s workshops will take place on December 22 and 23.
The workshops are drop-in between 11am to 3pm.
The cost is £2 per child who must be accompanied. Large groups are requested to book in advance.
The museum will be closed on December 24-26 and re-opens at 10.30am on December 29.
It will be closed for the New Year on December 31, January 1 and 2, and re-opens 10.30am on Tuesday January 5.
“Costumes Through the Ages” is a new exhibition in the Millennium Gallery providing a chance to see how costume has changed through time and to see treasured items from the museum’s reserve collection.
The exhibition is free and is scheduled to run until Saturday January 9.
The museum’s Christmas Fayres featuring items made by its Craft Group, have helped raise £360 for museum funds.
