Nantwich Town manager Phil Parkinson has made six new signings to bolster his injury-hit squad.
The Dabbers boss, still smarting after a 5-0 home defeat by Darlington on Tuesday, has moved quickly to strengthen the team.
And he was keen to secure signings before the closure of the Northern Premier League transfer deadline.
He has signed Daniel Gyollai, a highly-rated 6ft 5in goalkeeper and U19 Hungarian international, on loan from Stoke City.
Crewe Alex right back James Baillie, 20, who is in his second year as a professional, has also joined on loan.
Tommy Cooney, an Irish full-back with previous clubs including Boston and Corby, has signed.
Also secured is Curtis Jones, a centre half and holding midfielder previously on the books at Stockport and Celtic.
Parkinson also welcomes back two former Nantwich players in Nicky Platt, experienced midfielder, and striker Max Harrop (pictured, right).
Jon Gold, Nantwich Town director of football operations, said: “The magnificent FA Trophy heroics has resulted in unprecedented injuries to such a large number of key players.
“It was clear we needed to strengthen our squad quickly, especially with the deadline for signing players looming and the unfeasibly large number of games in quick succession coming up.
“So it’s been a busy 24 hours travelling around getting the business done.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in ensuring we were able to bring these quality players to the Club in such a short space of time.”
Dabbers boss Parkinson added: “I am delighted we have been able to bring such a talented group of players into the club at this stage of the season.
“We have a fantastic squad of players already here, and together they have achieved so much.
“But we are still hungry and passionate to finish the season as high as possible to give our loyal supporters some more memorable games and something to get excited about.
“As we prepare for next season and the frustratingly large number of injuries we currently have, it has meant the need to add to our squad to ensure we stay on course to achieve our objectives for the season.”
