Nantwich Town star Matty Kosylo has scooped the Young Player of the Year at the Evo-Stik Northern Premier awards.
Dabbers winger Kosylo has tormented defences throughout the season, and drawn the attention of some league clubs.
He received his award from Leeds United manager Steve Evans at the league’s awards night last night (Sunday April 17) in Barnsley.
Kosylo’s team mate Andy White joined the winger in making the league’s Team of the Year.
More than 300 guests attended the accolades which were held for the fifth season running at the plush Brooklands Holiday Inn.
The event is unique in the top levels of non-League football with the Evo-Stik NPL’s managers voting for their stars of the campaign.
As well as calling three ‘Teams of the Year’ onto the stage, former Crawley boss Evans will also honour a ‘Player of the Year and ‘Young Player of the Year’ in each division as well as the NPL Facebook Group’s coveted Fans’ Player of the Year.
Nantwich are back in action tonight (April 18) when they travel to face Hyde United.
The Dabbers are currently ninth in the league after earning a 1-1 draw away at Salford City on Saturday.
Nantwich took the lead through Josh Hancock in the 34th minute.
But the hosts snatched a point when they equalised in the last minute through Richard Allen.
