Nantwich Town star Matty Kosylo is set to join FC Halifax Town after the clubs agreed a transfer fee.
Kosylo joined the Dabbers in October 2014 and has had an excellent 21 months at the Weaver Stadium.
His forms in the 2015/16 season caught the eye of a number of bigger clubs thanks to a string of strong performances.
He was a regular starter in attack for Phil Parkinson and scored 13 goals in all competitions, nine in the league.
His performances saw him win the Young Player of the Year Award for the NPL Premier Division.
He was also, along with Andy White, named in the NPL Premier Division Team of the Season.
The transfer fee agreed remains undisclosed.
Halifax won the FA Trophy Final at Wembley in May against Grimsby, after beating the Dabbers in the semi-final.
But just two weeks early, the Shaymen were relegated from the National League to he Conference North.
Nantwich Town chairman Tony Davison said: “We are sorry to see Matty leave but he made it clear to me at the end of last season that he wanted to play at a higher level.
“Matty clearly impressed FC Halifax in our two-legged FA Trophy semi-final tie and they came calling in recent days.
“I have been delighted with his contribution to Nantwich Town over the past two years.
“This is in part down to the excellent work done by Phil Parkinson and his team, and we have developed great young players like Matty, Jon Moran and Elliot Osbourne who have all now stepped up to a higher level.
“We wish Matty well for the future at FC Halifax Town.”
