Nantwich-based Cooper Poole Air Conditioning Racing team is celebrating a string of strong results.
The XR2 driving team, led by Steve Poole, Justin Roberts and Nick Richardson, is in the top ten of the XR Championship at the halfway point.
Market Drayton-based former champion Mike Heath leads the standings.
And the team’s success has resulted in them being featured in the Ford magazine, Performance Ford.
Steve Poole said: “We have been racing for a number of years in the Championship, and we were thrilled when Performance Ford contacted and said they were interested in featuring our team.
“While we have had some disappointment with results, we are getting increasingly more competitive and we hope one of the team can score a win before the season finishes.”
Poole (pictured), a former multiple race winner, and Roberts, a former runner up in the Championship, were joined by series newcomer Nick Richardson this season.
Richardson enjoyed a career best finish of fifth in class at the last round.
The next round of the season will take place at the picturesque Anglesey circuit over the September 24-25 weekend.
