Forward John Johnston has extended his loan with Nantwich Town from Salford City until the end of the season.
Johnston was brought in by manager Phil Parkinson to help boost the club’s attacking options and has been a revelation since his arrival.
He made a strong start on his debut against Hednesford, grabbing assists for both goals and going close to scoring.
He did score in his second game, straight from a free kick against Warrington Town.
And Johnston added two more against Grantham Town and Coalville Town.
He also scored one of the Dabbers’ successful spot kicks against Warrington in the Cheshire Senior Cup Semi-Final on Tuesday.
That victory sets up a mouth-watering final against League Two neighbours Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road on Wednesday April 5, 7.45pm kick off.
“With three goals and two assists in six appearances, Johnston has made a real impact,” said a club spokesman.
“We look forward to seeing him in action through the final 11 games of the regular season.”
The extension will also cover him for any potential play off dates.
