A motorcyclist is in hospital after the third serious accident on the A534 at Faddiley, Nantwich, in as many weeks.
The latest incident involved two motorbikes and a car on the Wrexham Road shortly after 1pm yesterday (August 20).
A motorbike travelling from Nantwich towards Wrexham was in collision with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
The car then collided with a second motorbike, which was also travelling towards Wrexham.
The rider of the first motorbike sustained serious, but not life threatening injuries and was taken to Leighton Hospital.
All others involved suffered minor injuries.
The road was shut for more than four hours, and reopened at 5.40pm.
Two separate lorry crashes occurred on the same stretch of road in the past fortnight.
Cheshire Police had to close off the busy road between the A51 and A49 on August 14 to recover a HGV which had tipped over close to Wood Hey Lane junction.
And an almost identical incident happened a week earlier.
