Nantwich Town will travel to face League Two Stevenage in the FA Cup 1st Round proper if they overcome Kettering in their replay.
The Dabbers were held to a 1-1 draw by Kettering on Saturday in their fourth qualifying round tie at the Weaver Stadium.
The replay, back in Northants, will take place tomorrow night (October 17).
And if Dave Cooke’s can triumph there, they face the side who near neighbours Crewe Alexandra beat just over a week ago.
It will be only the second time in Nantwich’s history to make the 1st Round proper if they do win tomorrow.
Stevenage are ninth in League Two but were thrashed 7-1 away at Luton Town on Saturday.
The 1-0 defeat at Gresty Road the week before has emphasised the mixed fortunes so far this season, which has included fine wins at Carlisle, Barnet and Cheltenham.
Nantwich earned a replay on Saturday thanks to Sean Cooke’s stunning free-kick leveller in the second half.
But their league form has seen them lose five on the bounce, and they have dropped to third from bottom in the Evo Stik Northern Premier League.
