Nantwich Town have signed forward Jordan Cole from near neighbours Newcastle Town on loan.
The Dabbers said Cole has joined on a two-month loan with a view to signing permanently.
The 23-year-old joins the Weaver Stadium from the Evo-Stik Division One South side where he has scored nine goals so far this season.
That included bagging four in one game when they thrashed Spalding United 6-1.
Cole has been with Castle since he was a youngster and played a big part in the team’s run to the 2014/15 play-offs, scoring 25 league goals and being voted in the league’s team of the year.
The striker began his career as a youngster at Port Vale before progressing through the ranks at Castle to the first team.
