People interested in working for the NHS are being invited to attend a careers event at Leighton Hospital.
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hosting its annual careers fair on Wednesday March 7.
The free event is open to students from Year 9 upwards, as well as adults, who would like to find out more about the job opportunities NHS organisations have on offer.
There will be a chance to find out about current vacancies at Mid Cheshire Hospitals – one of a handful of trusts across the country to be rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
More than 40 stands will be on display covering departments and professions including nurses, doctors, paramedics, pharmacy, theatres, maternity, orthopaedics, volunteering, IT and recruitment.
There will also be representation from local colleges and universities.
Tracy Bullock, chief executive at Mid Cheshire Hospitals, said: “The careers fair is a great opportunity to learn about some of the 350 different roles available in the NHS and to discover which path you would like to take.
“We will also be offering information and advice on apprenticeships, work experience, volunteering, medical shadowing and traineeships.
“Last year’s event was a great success and we look forward to welcoming those who may be interested in working for the NHS and, in particular, Mid Cheshire Hospitals.”
To attend, register for a free ticket on www.eventbrite.co.uk and search for NHS events in Crewe.
Parents of students are also welcome to attend and do not require extra tickets.
The fair will take place in the Postgraduate Medical Centre’s Lecture Hall, Leighton Hospital, between 6pm and 9pm.
Free car parking will be available in hospital staff car parks from 5.30pm by pressing the intercom button at the barriers.
