Four people have appeared at Crewe Magistrates charged in connection with a £20 million drugs haul found in vehicle on the M6 in Cheshire.
Three men and one woman, all from Warrington area, have been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on August 31.
They have been charged following the multi-million pound drugs seizure made by Cheshire Police officers on Thursday (August 2).
Officers discovered a quantity of class A drugs with a street value of approximately £20 million in two vehicles stopped on the M6.
Dean Brettle, 36, of Lord Nelson Street, Fairfield and Howley, Warrington; Andrew Daniels, 40, of Laira Street, Fairfield and Howley, Warrington; Jamie Simpson, 30, of Delery Drive, Pouton-with-Fearnhead, Warrington; and Clare Smith, 35, of Oakland Street, Fairfield and Howley, Warrington, have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
