‘The Very Best In Stand Up’ returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on April 5 with another top bill of comedy.
The first act of the evening is Marlon Davis.
Davis is a talented comedian, improviser and actor whose recent TV appearances include BBC’s Live At The Apollo and Comedy Central’s Comedy Store Live.
Beginning his career in stand-up comedy in 2005, Davis made the final of two national competitions Laughing Horse and So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival the following year.
He has very quickly and firmly cemented his status as a rising star on the comedy circuit.
Second on the bill is Julian Deane, who has been wowing audiences across the country with his genius punchlines and perfect delivery.
Julian was recently seen performing on Russell Howard’s Hour and supporting Paul Chowdhry on the mammoth nationwide tour Live Innit.
His witty writing skills have also been put to use on Matt Forde’s Unspun (Dave Channel), which he wrote on in 2016.
Julian and fellow comedian Carl Donnelly started the podcast Two Vegan Idiots which is soon to be followed by live dates across 2019.
Headline act is comedy circuit legend John Moloney (pictured).
He has been a professional comedian for more than 20 years, and headlines at all the major comedy clubs around the world, including the prestigious London Comedy Store.
John has twice won ‘Best Live Performer’ at The London Comedy Festival, and was nominated as ‘Best Live Stand-Up’ at The British Comedy Awards.
He is a world-travelled comedian, who has delighted thousands at Festivals, Theatres, and Clubs.
From Melbourne to Edinburgh, from the prestigious Just For Laughs and Halifax Festivals in Canada to The Liffey Laughs in Dublin, he has been recognized as a true multi-award-winning comic talent.
John was also delighted to be included in Channel 4’s World Top 100 Stand-Ups.
Compere and host for the evening, and making his Nantwich debut, is John Fothergill.
The Geordie gagsmith is one of the most sought after comperes on the circuit.
The show is on Friday April 5 and tickets are on sale now priced at £10.
