An English Amputee Football Association U23 Invitational Tournament took place at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, writes Peter Robinson.
The international event saw three countries – England, Poland and Turkey – battle it out in the first-ever amputee football U23s competition.
There were three matches on Saturday and three matches yesterday (Sunday July 14) with each country playing each opposition country twice.
Turkey were tournament winners, with Poland in second place and England in third.
The tournament was supported by Simply Business, LAJ Photography, Office Bridge Group, Mark Harrod Limited and Reaseheath College.
