Rising British Touring Car Championship star Tom Oliphant is partnering with Sports Alive for the remainder of the 2019 season.
Tarporley-born Oliphant is in his second BTCC season, racing with the Team BMW outfit.
Sports Alive will provide contractual bonus cover and personal injury insurance as he competes in the highest profile race series in the UK.
This season has so far seen Oliphant secure two overall podium finishes and two Jack Sears Trophy successes.
He said: “I’m very proud to welcome Sports Alive to our team.
“They have a wealth of experience working in the top level of sport, partnering with some of the biggest athletes in the world to secure bonus based sponsorship schemes.
“I’m excited to bring them into the Motorsport industry and I look forward to introducing them to many new opportunities.
“Together I see a long and fruitful relationship, starting this weekend at Knockhill with the aim of my first BTCC win.”
Pete Lowndes-Burt, Director at Sports Alive, added: “We are delighted to be working with Tom Oliphant.
“As an FCA-approved appointed representative, we have direct access into the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, which means we can offer Tom total peace of mind that he is covered and will not be faced with any surprise costs.”
The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship sees more than 380,000 fans attending the ten race series, while ITV coverage reaches a UK audience of more than 19 million.
The 2019 campaign continues this weekend (September 15) in the Scottish highlands with Rounds 22, 23 and 24 taking place at Knockhill.
