Police are urging witnesses to come forward after a man died following a collision in Crewe.
A red Hyundai collided with a pedestrian on Mill Street, under the railway bridge.
It happened at around 10.50pm on Saturday (October 26).
The pedestrian, a 29-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
Inquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has any other information or dashcam footage which may aid the investigation.
Sergeant Nick Rogers, of Cheshire Constabulary’s Serious and Complex Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Sadly, a young man died as a result of this collision and we are committed to doing all we can to establish exactly what happened.
“As part of our investigation I’m keen to hear from anyone who witnesses the incident or anyone with any dashcam footage of the collision.
