Your Move and Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity have teamed up for a new charity partnership.
Andrew Nicholson, who runs Your Move in Crewe, has agreed to donate £50 to the charity’s MRI Scanner Appeal after every successful completion.
And they hope the partnership will raise around £5,000 every year for the appeal to buy a new scanner for Leighton Hospital.
Your Move will include the MRI Scanner Appeal logo on sign boards at all properties during the partnership.
It will also be on the signage displayed in the branch on Nantwich Road in Crewe.
Laura Riddle, Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity manager, said: “I’d like to offer my sincere thanks to Andrew Nicholson for choosing to support this essential appeal through their generous donation plan.
“We can’t wait to get the fundraising underway!”
Mr Nicholson added: “We hope to raise a fantastic £5,000 per year towards the MRI Scanner Appeal and we plan to donate on a six-monthly basis.
“As a local company, we believe it’s important to support our local community services.
“We also hope to raise awareness of the appeal by displaying its logo across our signage, helping to get the word out about this fantastic cause.”
Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity launched the £1 million MRI Scanner Appeal to provide an additional MRI scanner at Leighton Hospital in March last year.
The existing scanner operates at full capacity and scans 30 patients daily.
