Worleston’s popular Village Fete will take place on Saturday July 14 from 11am.
The fund-raising event will feature plenty of entertainment for all ages.
Some of the planned attractions include Vale Royal Falconry, Dog Show/Agility Competition, Children’s Entertainer, Punch and Judy, Bouncy Castle, Rose Queen, Tombola, Eating Competition and Egg Throwing and Tug-of-War which were so popular last year.
There will be drinks at the bar, including gin and tonic, sparkling prosecco, cool beers and an array of soft drinks.
There will also be a BBQ and traditional afternoon tea in the shade, and ice cream and cake stalls.
Well-known local singer Lucy Barlow will be performing her range of jazz, ballads and musical genres from 1930s through to 1960s Americana and Rock n Roll.
One of the organisers Joyce Hudson said: “It has all the ingredients for a fabulous day out at a traditional Fete whilst also raising money for the local good causes.
“The Fete has gone from strength to strength over the years thanks to the support of the local community, businesses and visitors to the area.
“We expect 2018 to be no exception so make sure you come and join us.”
Admission and parking is free.
The fete will be held at St Oswald’s Worleston Primary School on Church Road.
