Organisers have again been forced to postpone the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival 2021 to August Bank Holiday.
It comes after Prime Minster Boris Johnson announced the nation’s road map out of the pandemic.
Stage 4 of lifting measures will be at the earliest June 21, which covers large public events.
Organisers said: “This is not a decision made lightly and we hoped this would not be the case, however we must act cautiously with the safety of our customers and traders our top priority.
“We are grateful to our venue Chester racecourse who have worked with us to secure the weekend of 28th-30th August 2021 for us to host the show this year.
“Following the announcements of the progress of the vaccine rollout and the staged roadmap, we are confident that the event will be able to take place safely at this time.”
Organisers say those who bought tickets to attend Camperfest or the food festival in 2020 or for the Easter 2021 event have been contacted.
Their tickets will be valid for the new August 2021 dates.
“We cannot thank our partners, suppliers, and supporter enough for their understanding in what has been a difficult year for us all, but we look forward to welcoming you all back to the event this summer and hopefully take advantage of the summer weather.”
