A case of someone with Coronavirus has been confirmed in Cheshire East, authorities said today.
It’s believed to be the first case in the borough.

Cheshire Police secures £100,000 funding for new Tasers
Cheshire Police has been awarded more than £100,000 by the Home Office to purchase new Tasers.
The bid, submitted by police and crime commissioner (PCC) David Keane, will allow Cheshire Constabulary to buy 130 Tasers over the next 12 months.

Nantwich Choral Society concert on 21st March 2020 has been postponed. It was a performance of Bach’s Mass in B Minor. Due to the current climate, organisers have postponed the event until Saturday, 14th November 2020

A 16-year-old boy from Crewe has been sentenced to youth detention after admitting stabbing a stranger in the abdomen in broad daylight.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, caused a serious internal injury to his victim.
