Fire crews battled a chimney blaze at a house in the village of Baddiley, near Nantwich.
The fire broke out at about 11pm last night (January 24) at a property on Baddiley Close.
Masked raiders have smashed their way in to the Pockets clothing store in Nantwich town centre and stole thousands of pounds of stock.
The three men used a crowbar to smash through the glass doors of the store on the corner of Pillory Street and Hospital Street at about 1am this morning.
