Nantwich youngsters did their schools proud at the South Cheshire sportshall athletics finals. Teams from Pear Tree Primary in Stapeley,  Weaver Primary, and Sound Primary took part in the finals at South Cheshire College.

A Nantwich youngster won an Olympics Christmas card competition which saw one of his creations posted to Prime Minister David Cameron. Sam Ridout, a pupil at Weaver Primary School, was the overall winner of the competition hosted by local MP Edward Timpson.
